Garden center with mum.

Today me and my mum decided to take a trip down to the garden center. We went to go and get one thing, then we were going to go out for lunch after... but I got distracted at the Yankee Candle section and couldn't resist stocking up. I got 3 new candles:
They all smell absolutely divine. I have got a new obsession with candles, inherited off my mum. We have bags and bags on mini candles for all the different seasons of the year.

Here are the candles I'm loving right now:
My room currently smells of the far right one - Vanilla Cupcake.
The far left skull candle was a Christmas present of my friend Giorgia and i love it so much. the candle inside has actually ran out, and i love the effect it has when it burns sooo much (the light comes through it's eyes and nose) that i keep stocking it up with other purchased candles.

Afterwards I dragged her into town so I could get some rings I've had my eyes on for AGES.
They're a set from Topshop. Can't actually remember how much they were! About £15 for them all I think... I also bought a white lace bandeau for a POUND in the sale but i thought it would be pointless to picture that ^_^

birthday presents!

My birthday presents came in the post today, both being two sexy pairs of shoes from Topshop.

The little booties are the 'Topshop Adonis'. They're a little tight as they're real leather so I'm gonna have to wear them in around the house before I wear them to work/college or I'll get some serious blisters! They're completely worth the £90 spent on them (not incl 20% student discount) because they're a complete statement piece and I can see me rocking these everyday with every single outfit. These are my new creepers!

These platform beauties were one of the last pairs in the Topshop Christmas sale. They were £40, come down from £85 (I think)...
Totally worth £40, (and I got student discount!)... but I don't think I could have brought myself to spending £85 on them! A little bit tight, and the reviews said to buy the size up because of this. Unfortunately my size up wasn't in stock so I chanced it and bought them in a 7. I'm a 6.5 really and they are fine, they just need wearing in! I'll definitely be wearing these out and to work as they're comfy in the fact that the heel isn't that high due to the ginormous platform!
These aren't available on the internet anymore but some similar ones have just come into stock - full price!

My next pair on my list to buy when I get some money are these sandles. I think they will be perfect for when me and the family go to Florida, I'd wear them out for meals etc. :) I love them!
Eeee excited!

music to love.

can't get enough of these songs.

The Knife - Heartbeats

Icona Pop - Sun Goes Down

Things I'm lusting over & the future.

I swear I should not be allowed on the internet. I'll go online just to check my bus times and come away with a shopping basket on topshop consisting of goodies that will cost me a ridiculous price.
At this moment my bank balance is £4.96... So I suppose I have to resist the temptation of proceeding to the checkout or, well, Topshop can refuse my payment... I guess...
But here are some bits I'm lusting over right now. PAYDAY PLEASE?

It's early, but recently I've been thinking about the future and what I really want to do. I know the path I want to go down, but at first I didn't know how to get there. I've now realized with a little friend named Google you can find out anything, and I've officially found the perfect university and course, and I'm super super happy I know what I want to do. The London College of Fashion expect the grades of a completely perfect student and the portfolio of a saint but I'm gonna push myself and try my best to get there. I guess now I'm just gonna have to actually go to college and work myself to my fricking bone.  The course is a fashion styling and photography course, and I know uni is a year and a half away but I'm starting to practice and build up my portfolio as from now as I really bloody need the practice. Wish me luck.
Roast beef dinner is calling me, buh bye.

Birthday.

In 11 days I will turn 17. Feeling the least excited I think I ever have done for my birthday.. I guess I'm just getting older now and slowly become an adult (wahh!).
It's getting slightly real now.. My first step to adulthood was me getting a job, but now my provisional driving license has come in the post and I'm looking at uni's. I seriously regret spending my earlier years desperately trying so hard to be an adult. I may still be legally a child for another year, but I want to be a child forever! I'm pretty sure in my mind I always will be... Bossy, playful, irresponsible, messy.... I'll never change!

I'm feeling incredibly blessed this year, my wonderful Grandma has bought me my very own little brum brum! I've decided he's a boy but I'm yet to name him! He's a 2007 black ford fiesta and he's a beaut.

Here is a collage of a few (hehe, few..) bits and bobs i want for my birthday ;)
Jefferey Campbell Litas in black, Topshop metallic midi pencil skirt, Topshop wooden block strappy heels, Topshop studded waist belt, white TUK brothel creepers, Freedom @ Topshop cross arm cuff, Topshop Buckled boots, Topshop black boutique dress, Topshop white drop back top, Topshop Boutique sheer dress,  Black Topshop turban, Topshop red midi skirt, Topshop shades, Freedom @ Topshop oversized neckalce, Topshop metallic skater dress & Topshop burgundy bowler hat.

Not asking for a lot am I? Ha. A few trends going on here, mainly consisting of Topshop and the colours black, red and white... I'm sure you can imagine what my wardrobe at home looks like.

New year, new blog.

Evening, all. After months of pondering whether to create a blog or not the day has finally come, here I am!
I figured now school is over and my college course involves no in depth writing whatsoever, it would be a shame to put writing to a stand still. I'll admit I'm feeling a little rough finding great flow whilst writing but I'm sure within a week or so I'll be back.
I've done Tumblr before, but I found I couldn't stand it anymore with it being so full of people my age craving attention and fighting to be the most 'tumblr famous' getting their tits out and putting brothel creepers to shame.

Where to start? Well, what better way to start a new blog with a post overlooking the past year? It is the 19th of January after all, a bit late but hey ho.
2011 contained ups and downs...

1) I turned 16, what an anti climax. I had a good party though.

2) Darling Janet my mother's birth mum passed away sadly due to Leukemia days after my birthday.

3) I lost 2 stone (yet I'm still dieting!).

4) I got the job I always wanted at Topshop.

5) I passed my GCSE's and got all the grades I desired.

6) My best friend, also known as our families beautiful golden retriever Max passed away, funnily enough also of Leukemia.

7) Enrolled at Newcastle-under-Lyme college.

8) Made countless new friends due to college and work.

9) Adopted a beautiful girl pup named Pom!

10) Visited Paris with my mum.

Overall, what an eventful year! Oh, and to top it all off me and Ben celebrated our 2 year anniversary :-) We spent the weekend in Liverpool and ate in the best Japanese restaurant in the country, ice skating, swimming in the hotel swimming pool and last but definitely not least... SHOPPING!

I have a sneaky feeling that 2012 will be a better year, and I'm hoping good things will come from it. My resolutions are endless, but my top ones are to lose 3 STONE, pass my driving test and actually decide what I want to do for the rest of my life! Unsure I'll do the last one, but one can only hope.
